Street View

← What's newsearch and navigation

Press the Street View button in the row of buttons below a feature’s title. Google Street View opens between the title and the feature’s fields, and faces the feature. The view comes from an outdoor photo within 50 metres of the feature. The photo is from Street View’s own collection or from a member of the public. If there is no such photo, the space says so.

Street View stays open when you go between features, return to the list or edit a feature. Each time Groundwork loads, Street View starts closed. A feature with no geometry has no Street View button.

How to try it

  1. Open a feature.
  2. Press the Street View button.
  3. Drag the view to look in different directions.
  4. To close it, press the Street View button again.
