Records in search and filters

← What's newsearch and navigation

Search now reads the records attached to a feature as well as the feature’s own details. A result found in one names the set it came from and the feature it belongs to, and opening it frames that feature on the map and shows the record.

The filter reads them too. Each set is listed near the top of its field list, and picking a field from one narrows the map to the features whose records hold the values you tick: the trees whose inspections say Poor, even though the trees themselves hold no condition. The clock button beside the filter’s tick box narrows that to the most recent record alone, so a tree inspected as Critical in 2021 and Good ever since answers to Critical before you press it and not after.

How to try it

  1. Open a map whose features have records attached.
  2. Search for a word that appears only in a record.
  3. Open the filter and pick a field from one of the sets listed at the top.

Exploring features in the User Guide covers this in full.
