New logo and light theme
Groundwork has a new logo mark and wordmark, carried through the app, the website and the icon you get when you add Groundwork to a phone’s home screen. In dark mode the lockup switches to its mint variant.
New sessions now start in light mode. Dark is still there, and the switch has moved into the settings menu in the workspace header, alongside attribute layout, location box style and units. Choose a theme and the settings panel closes behind you.
The Dark theme also draws the street background map dark to match, including the street overlay over aerial imagery. Aerial imagery looks the same either way, as does any background map whose provider publishes no dark version.
The interface icons are now drawn from one set, so controls that do the same thing look the same wherever they appear.
How to try it
- Open the settings menu in the workspace header and find Theme.
- Switch to dark and watch the background map change with it.
- Switch back to light: where every new session now starts.
