Keyboard and touch access
Tabbing inside an open dialog now stays inside it, so the keyboard cannot wander onto the map behind. Closing the dialog puts the keyboard back where it was.
A control that is switched off now says why. The reason was previously a tooltip, which a touch screen has no way to show, so on a phone or a tablet there was nothing to read. It is now text both a pointer and a screen reader reach.
Clear buttons inside a field are shown on wide touch screens as well, where before they waited for a hover that never came.
How to try it
- Open any dialog and press Tab several times.
- Find a control that is switched off and read what it says.
- Try the same on a touch screen.
