Browser back button
With a feature open, your browser’s back button, and the Android back gesture, now returns you to the feature list. It no longer leaves Groundwork, and forward reopens the feature. However many features you have stepped through with the arrows, one press of back opens the list.
While you are capturing or editing, back leaves that mode first instead of navigating, asking about unsaved changes the same way the cancel button does.
Back does not restore where the map was panned or zoomed to, and changing the sort or switching layers does not count as a move. From the feature list, back leaves Groundwork. And where Groundwork is embedded in another page, back and forward move that page instead.
How to try it
- Open a feature, then step through a few with the arrows at the top right.
- Press your browser’s back button: the feature list opens.
- Press forward to reopen the feature.
Exploring features in the User Guide covers this in full.
