A bigger location box
The location box and its device-location button are larger, most noticeably on a phone, where they were the hardest controls on the screen to hit. The location button is always visible. It used to appear only once the box was open.
A location you drop by right-clicking the map and choosing Set location, or by pressing and holding on a phone, is now kept under Recent in the location box, alongside the addresses you have searched. Pick a searched place again from Recent and the map returns to the view that search gave you.
How to try it
- Right-click an empty part of the map and choose Set location.
- Open the location box and look under Recent: the point you dropped is listed.
- Search an address, pan away, then choose it again from Recent.
