Straight from QGIS
This page is for the GIS people who set the map up. Your QGIS project becomes a map anyone in your organisation can use.
The project is the configuration
Groundwork reads what you set up in QGIS Desktop and builds the app around it. Symbology, field aliases, display fields, draw order and the saved view are all reproduced. The more you set up in QGIS, the more Groundwork already knows.
Publish to a folder
Save the project and its GeoJSON layers to a Dropbox or OneDrive folder and point Groundwork at it. The folder is the whole deployment, on storage your organisation already runs.
The handover is a link
Set the map up in Groundwork and send a link. Your staff start work without needing to know any of the plumbing on this page. The Features page covers what a link opens with.
Edits are written back to your folder
On a Dropbox folder, a save writes straight back to the layer's file, in your live data. Colleagues with the map open see the change within seconds, and your folder's own version history records every save. OneDrive and SharePoint maps open read-only today.
Already publishing with QGIS Server or WFS?
Groundwork also connects to live WFS servers, including QGIS Server, with full editing support. That path is part of the Teams plan on the Pricing page, and the Technology page describes the stack underneath.
