Groundwork works on a phone, for the people whose work happens away from a desk.
Open it where you stand
A Groundwork map opens on a phone the same as at a desk, with the same features and the same editing, in the browser you already have. The layout adapts to the screen: a full-screen map, with your data on a sheet that slides up from the bottom.
Made for touch
Small features are forgiving to tap, overlapping ones open a picker so you choose the one you meant, and a press-and-hold stands in for a right-click. The map keeps working behind the sheet, so you can pan and zoom without closing anything.
What's near me?
Set your location by searching an address or using the device's position, and Nearby lists features by real travel distance, then draws the route to the one you pick.
Capture it once, on the spot
You put what you find straight onto the map, drawing it by hand or dropping it at the spot you're standing on from your device's position, then describing it and saving it into your organisation's live data. A save that fails stops the app until it is retried or discarded, so nothing quietly vanishes.

Groundwork needs a connection today, so plan for that before heading somewhere without one.
