Administrator Guide
You prepare the map, and your team opens a link. This guide shows your tasks: connect Groundwork to your data, configure what your team gets, and share the link. The User Guide shows what your team does.
To update the data, change it at its source. Groundwork reads your source each time a map loads, and does not keep a copy of your data.
- Save your QGIS project and its GeoJSON layers to a Dropbox or OneDrive folder.
- Connect Groundwork to the folder, set up the map and send your team the link.
- Your team opens the link, and Groundwork reads the folder.
- From a private Dropbox folder, Groundwork saves edits to GeoJSON files and CSV child layers. OneDrive is coming soon.
The example in this guide is a council street-trees project. It has one point layer of trees that your team can edit, with a style by species.
